Cookie Policy

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file of information that the web server saves on the website visitor's computer. As the information is sent back to the website on each call, it is possible to keep track of visitors' preferences, identity or history.

Life span

There are cookies in two different categories regarding life span:

  • Sessions cookie
A cookie that is deleted after the browser session ends by closing the browser. It keeps track of what happened during the current session.

  • Persistent cookie
A cookie that is stored for a predetermined time.

First and third party cookies

Cookies can be saved by the visited website itself (liqr.se) or by an external website:

  • First-party cookies
Created by the website you are currently visiting, i.e. liqr.se
  • Third party cookies
Created by another website, which has embedded content on the web page, for example Facebook.

What cookies do we use?

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • to prevent hacker attacks (cross-site request forgery attacks)
  • to remember a user between logins, in case the user ticks the "Remember me" box in the login form.
  • to store your keystrokes during the current session so that we can notify you of double keystrokes.
  • to remember that you have accepted our terms of use
  • to enable login
  • to be able to provide our users with relevant information. Meta's pixel is used for this.

Do you want to opt out of Cookies?

We use four categories of cookies: essential, functional, statistics and marketing. You can turn on or off approval for these categories, except the essential ones which are always on. Click on the "Manage Cookies" link in the footer or the drop-down menu at the top right to adjust your cookie consent.

Changes to this policy

We may change this cookie policy at any time. Therefore, check the site regularly to stay informed of any changes.
